New and expanded roles connect franchise onboarding, education and ongoing development to enhance owner success and system growth

ROCKLIN, Calif., Nov. 5, 2026 — Always Best Care Senior Services, a leading provider of non-medical in-home care and senior living referral services, is strengthening its investment in franchisee success with the appointments of Kelly Saunders as Director of Learning & Education and Cheryl Price as Director of Franchise Onboarding. Together, they will connect dedicated onboarding guidance with ongoing education, supporting new owners as they launch their businesses and established franchisees as they strengthen operations and grow.

Feedback from franchisees has reinforced the value of structured onboarding, practical education and ongoing guidance for owners and their teams. Price will guide new owners from agreement signing through business setup, launch and early growth, while Saunders will lead the learning programs, tools and resources that support onboarding and continued development across the franchise system.

"Franchisee success is central to how we grow Always Best Care. As we continue to welcome new owners and support established franchisees, we want to make sure they have the guidance and practical tools they need at every stage of their journey," said Jake Brown, President and CEO of Always Best Care. "Kelly and Cheryl bring tremendous experience in franchising, training and operational support, and their leadership will help us build a stronger experience for our owners and their teams."

Cheryl Price — Director of Franchise Onboarding

Price's newly created role adds dedicated leadership to the process of guiding new owners from agreement signing through business setup, launch and early growth. Her initial focus includes strengthening onboarding milestones, coordinating timely resources and helping new owners understand each step so they can move toward opening day and beyond with greater confidence and clarity.

Price brings 13 years of experience supporting franchisees through onboarding and training, including extensive experience in senior care franchising with Home Instead, Right at Home and Home Care Assistance. She has also held roles with Jungle Driving School and Horsepower Brands. She holds a B.S. from Bellevue University.

"There is a lot for a new franchise owner to learn, and one of the most important lessons I have learned is that timing matters," said Cheryl Price, Director of Franchise Onboarding at Always Best Care "My goal is to give owners the right information and support at the right time so they feel confident navigating business setup, preparing for launch and building early momentum."

Kelly Saunders, CPTD — Director of Learning & Education

Saunders' role expands Always Best Care's previous franchise training function to include broader educational programs, tools and resources for franchise owners and their teams, supporting both new-owner onboarding and continued development for established franchisees.

Saunders will begin by listening to franchise owners and their teams to shape a learning roadmap that strengthens new-owner training and ongoing development across agency roles. Her focus will be on accessible, practical resources and connecting learning to outcomes such as caregiver retention, client satisfaction and business growth.

A Certified Professional in Talent Development, Saunders brings 25 years of learning and development experience across major franchise organizations.

When her father-in-law received in-home care before entering hospice, Saunders saw how professional support helped both him and the family members caring for him - an experience that deepened her commitment to the people and work at the heart of senior care.

"The best franchise training is practical, ongoing and directly connected to the work owners and their teams are doing every day. My focus is on building learning experiences that are easy to access, relevant to each role and tied to real business outcomes," said Kelly Saunders, Director of Learning & Education at Always Best Care. "When franchisees can see how training helps them improve operations, support their teams and grow their businesses, learning becomes a tool for real growth."

Both Saunders and Price report to Sheila Davis, Chief Operating Officer of Always Best Care, helping align onboarding, learning and education closely with operations and franchisee support.
