Is Brian Laundrie a Critic of Bill Maher?
If Brian Laundrie was an interesting person, he’d be working at a Del Taco drive-thru. Instead, he should be a person of interest in the homicide of Gabby Petito. If he is a critic of Bill Maher, he should be working as a drive-thru employee for Del Taco. However, I doubt that this is the case.
Brian Laundrie is a critic of Bill Maher
While he’s never said much about it publicly, Brian Laundrie is a critic of comedian Bill Maher. Maher has also been a vocal critic of the media culture and the #VanLife movement. Brian has also called Maher’s work uninteresting. Regardless of the motivations for his criticisms, Laundrie’s words speak to a much larger cultural crisis.
Gabby Petito, a 22-year-old student at the University of Florida, and her boyfriend, Brian Laundrie, were road-tripping across the United States last summer. In late August, they stopped sharing pictures on their Instagram account, and Laundrie disappeared. He returned to Florida alone on Sept. 1. Petito’s parents reported her missing on Sept. 11, but Laundrie refused to speak to the police.
He should be working at a Del Taco drive-thru
If Bill Maher had his way, Brian Laundrie should be working at s a Del Taco drive-thru. The former “Saturday Night Live” star has been railing against the “VanLife” lifestyle that many people have adopted in their search for meaningful work. Maher has a beef with the way Gabby Petito’s murder was covered. He also says that Laundrie shouldn’t be pursuing this lifestyle, since it’s not sustainable.
He is not an interesting person
On the Real Time show, Bill Maher rails against young people documenting boring things. While he claims that content creators and small businesses are the fastest-growing businesses in the world, he also rips into a young guy named Brian Laundrie. In his segment, “New Rule,” Maher is particularly harsh on Laundrie, who supposedly belongs in a Del Taco drive-through.
One of the most interesting segments was when Maher attacked #VanLife, a video diary by a young man who lives on a van. Maher said the videos were boring and he should work in a Del Taco drive-through. Maher also noted that the generation of self-made careerists want to be their own bosses and that it is not sustainable to pursue that lifestyle.
He should be a person of interest in the homicide of Gabby Petito
It is unclear whether Brian Laundrie is related to the disappearance of Petito, but his case is distinct from that of Kylen Schulte and Crystal Turner. Petito’s family and friends contacted police after receiving texts from their daughter about the disappearance on August 30. Police contacted Laundrie’s parents and collected evidence from his home. In the days following her disappearance, police interviewed Laundrie and his family.
The body of Petito was found in Wyoming on Sept. 19. The coroner’s report determined that she died of strangulation and was strangled. Laundrie used Petito’s debit card to make purchases during his trip home, according to the FBI. His parents called police when they saw her missing, and a warrant was issued for his arrest. A few days later, Laundrie’s Ford Mustang was discovered at T. Mabry Carlton Jr. Memorial Reserve and Myakkahatchee Creek Park in North Port.
Police have interviewed Brian’s father, Chris Laundrie. The family believes he may have the identity of Gabby’s killer.
DNA evidence may help investigators narrow down the suspect list, but there is no evidence that he is the killer. In addition to being a person of interest in the murder of Gabby Petito, Brian Laundrie is wanted for unauthorized use of Gabby Petito’s debit card.
There are numerous details surrounding this case, and the investigation should continue. The investigation may give the families a sense of closure. Even if it ends up being a waste of time, this investigation could help find a suspect. And this case can help close a gap in the lives of both Petito and Laundrie. But it must come with a catch.
